We were fortunate not to get effected by Hurricane Irene last weekend aside for a bit of wind – which we made the most of by getting some kites and spending some good ‘ol fashioned family time together.

Fall portrait season is right around the corner (literally, it starts next week!!). So I thought I’d scour some of my favorite children’s fashion site for some ideas for you on what to wear for your session. There is SO much cute stuff out there, its time for a shopping spree!!

I am pleased to announce two major bits of news for you all. The first I am really excited about – it’s is a new option when it comes to your birth announcements, greeting cards and other photo stationary – our Tiny Prints Affiliate program! The second bit of news (which you lucky newsletter subscribers already heard about and have started booking) are the announcement of our fall minis. We are hosting two set this year. The firs is our Holiday Mini-Sessions. For days only we will be having 30 minute sessions in which we will capture 8-10 gorgeous mages of your family for you to choose from. From those you will receive an 8×10, 2 5x7s and 2 packs of Custom Designer Greeting cards or you can choose to have two prints uploaded to TinyPrints where you can choose from one of their hundreds of designs printed.
The second set of mini-sessions we are having this year are Halloween Mini-Sessions. This one I am really excited about. I can’t wait to meet all of the adorable little princesses, ghouls, pirates and jack-o-lanterns! These little sessions will be 20 minutes long and from it you’ll have 8-10 images to choose from to have not only 3 5×7 prints made but also the low-resolutions digital file of each image to show off online with your family and friends.

little J. is one!! Being able to document a child’s first year is my favorite favorite favorite thing about what i do. it fills me with happiness to see these wrinkly little peanuts become these little people right before my eyes. I’m truly lucky.

its been brutally hot here in Charlotte – but this won’t stop us from having a great time! here are two brothers I had a blast with last week. So smiley and happy! love it.
