little J. is one!! Being able to document a child’s first year is my favorite favorite favorite thing about what i do. it fills me with happiness to see these wrinkly little peanuts become these little people right before my eyes. I’m truly lucky.

my newborn and baby portrait sessions are in full swing this summer. here is a newborn session from a wonderful charlotte family who was so much fun! dad was totally into creating these gorgeous setups for baby and they turned out fantastic. I’ve actually wanted to do the “hanging baby” pose for a while so I was totally psyched when mom said she really wanted it.

i’m still here | newborn portraits

I’m still here, buried under a mountain of images to edit and orders to process. but ’tis the season and I am enjoying every moment of it. i’ve got to hang out with some really fun families and some gorgeous newborns. i am having a blast in this last crazy bit of the holiday season. i am booking january and february 2011 (wow 2011??) sessions now so if you are pregnant and due during those months or if you’d like a winter session now is a great time to reserve your spot!
