Congratulation to miss B – on winning the Photogenic Competition AGAIN! Out of 140 girls and she WON Most Promising Model of her age division.  She also won 3rd runner up in the pageant.  3rd runner up casual wear modeling, best resume, 1st runner up in talent and 1st runner up spokesmodel (speech competition).  She was the one of the youngest in her age division! B is such a sweet girl and I am so excited for her. Way to go B!!!

A common question I get is “how long have you been doing photography?”. The answer is: literally, for as long as I can remember. But photographing children came when my oldest nephew was born. He’s 10 and a half years old now. I must have well over a thousand pictures of him. Since then my sister has had two more gorgeous kids who I adore (and photograph) just as much. They are so adorable, incredibly smart, fun fun fun, and I love them to bits. I don’t get to spend as much time with them as I’d like since I live in North Carolina, but when I do…I always have the best time. Love you guys!

I have photographed this little beauty for several years now. Every time I do I am struck by how gorgeous and full of personality she is. Mark my words she is going to be famous someday. Either a singer, actress, journalist, scientist, Nobel prize winner…something. And I will say…”I knew her when…”
