my newborn and baby portrait sessions are in full swing this summer. here is a newborn session from a wonderful charlotte family who was so much fun! dad was totally into creating these gorgeous setups for baby and they turned out fantastic. I’ve actually wanted to do the “hanging baby” pose for a while so I was totally psyched when mom said she really wanted it.

I’m still here, buried under a mountain of images to edit and orders to process. but ’tis the season and I am enjoying every moment of it. i’ve got to hang out with some really fun families and some gorgeous newborns. i am having a blast in this last crazy bit of the holiday season. i am booking january and february 2011 (wow 2011??) sessions now so if you are pregnant and due during those months or if you’d like a winter session now is a great time to reserve your spot!

and here is a little teaser for one of the recent new moms….such a precious little girl! congrats to her happy family!

I’m so behind on my blogging! Fall portrait season is well under way and I have been SWAMPED – which, believe me, I’m not complaining about!! I’m pretty much booked for anything intended before Christmas, but if that doesn’t matter to you I still have some 2010 dates available for December and I’ve already cracked opened up the calender for 2011! Ah summer has come to an end (though you wouldn’t know it with this heat!). the kids are back in school and soon the weather will cool off and the leaves will begin changing. I love the fall. its my favorite time of year. its also….Portrait Season! Now’s the time to start signing up for your fall portraits to ensure you get the spot you’d like.
